Arabic language is the mother tongue of Saudi Arabia and some other 24 Arab countries. It is the policy of BISAK to teach Arabic language to non-Arabs students in order to enable them to communicate with their Arab colleagues as well as with their surrounding society. This will enhance interaction of different cultures, humanitarian practices, habits and traditions. Communication will train students to be open-minded and tolerant in accepting differences and listening to the views and ideas of others and dealing positively with the values and traditions of other cultures, especially the one of the country where they are living and studying.

• Introduce Arabic to students with no previous knowledge of the language.
• Enable students to understand, read and write Modern Standard Arabic with ease.
• Provide opportunities to interact with Middle East culture, thus encouraging respect and understanding between different cultures and peoples.

• Student should be able to comprehend and to summarize the basic information (ideas, arguments, issues …..) of almost any modern Arabic text, whether printed or spoken.
• Student to take part in simple but also serious conversations with educated Arabs.
• Read through and understand written text of moderate difficulty.
• Write simple but correct and accurate Arabic.
