On Friday, 24th January the BISAK U-11 Girls Football team attended the BSME Football Tournament that was held at Doha College, Qatar. In a thrilling day’s sporting entertainment, we are delighted to announce that they were the overall winning team in their group.
The coach, Mrs Marinho and her team consisting of: Aramide A. (Y4 Brasilia), Sarah V. (Y5 Sydney), Lana M./Marcela G. (Y5 Wellington), Sanae B./ Talia A. (Y6 Casey), Naya A./ Sofia C. (Y6 Halley), Laila S./ Lama A./ Alia T and the team’s captain, Serena T. (Y6 Concordia) were all amazing!
Our girls performed outstandingly well throughout the tournament. They competed with skill, heart and determination. The girls came up against a variety of schools from different countries and the level of competition was exceptionally high.
A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who came to Qatar for their incredible support and encouragement. We also thank those parents who could not travel but supported us from Saudi Arabia. The PE department and the school are very proud of all the girls.
We are looking forward to the next competition.
