Pupils from Year 11 to Year 13 enjoyed a well-deserved break on Friday, 24th January as we walked along the Khobar Corniche all the way to SALT restaurant. It was a perfect way to unwind after mock exams and be outside after a stressful time by having a relaxing day out, taking photos, eating food and laughing with friends.
Pupils and teachers met up near the water tower to start our 45-minute walk. The Corniche was getting busy. It was great weather for a stroll as the area filled with families and friends. As we walked along the Corniche, we made sure to capture the best moments of the day, taking photos of the scenery and even the popular ducks and cats!
One of the highlights of the walk was the delicious food at the beach. We played games as we waited for our ice creams, drinks, burgers and fries. Finally, after the long walk and doing activities together, we enjoyed our meals while sitting on the benches. The combination of great food and great company made time pass quickly and made the view even more stunning.
As the evening came to a close, pupils left very happy. A huge thanks to all the pupils who came. Thanks to Ms Yousaf, Mr Kher-Alla, Mr Kapumpa and Mr Abu Bakr for organising the trip and making it special. Everyone had a fabulous time.
