U16 SAIKAC Football – Jeddah

Last week, BISAK U16 Boys’ Football team, led by Mr Ashton and Mr Cunningham, competed in the two-day SAIKAC tournament in Jeddah. Despite being the reigning champions, they faced a challenging quarter-final match against ISG Dammam, which they lost 1-0 despite dominating possession. Well done to all players and accompanying staff.

U18 DPSL Basketball – A Khobar

Our U18 Basketball team took part in a Round-Robin tournament on Saturday, February 8th. Despite a narrow 20-17 loss to DAS, the team bounced back with a 25-23 victory over Al Hussan, displaying exceptional shooting and rebounding skills. Despite narrowly missing out on a spot in the final due to points difference, the team, led by manager Farhan, secured the bronze medal by defeating IPSA in an exceptional performance.

Special recognition goes to Patil and Reine for organising and officiating the scoring table throughout the tournament. A big thank you to the staff and sixth formers who supported the team during the event, contributing to a memorable and enjoyable day for everyone involved.

U19 SAIKAC Football – Riyadh

This weekend, our U19 Football team participated in the SAIKAC Football Tournament in Riyadh where they faced tough competition from various schools, including current champions ASD. Despite two losses and a draw in the group stage, the team showed resilience and advanced to the plate competition. Victories over BISR DQ and a draw with AISR secured BISAK a spot in the plate final. Led by captain Anan, BISAK took the lead in the final match, only for BISR AW to equalise. In a tense moment, Mohammed’s saved penalty kept BISAK in the game. Unfortunately, a late goal from the opposition resulted in a 2-1 defeat for BISAK in the final.  Thank you to Mr Ashton for coaching the team.
